A recorded announcement can be used when you don't need to talk to your customers directly. This reduces the time you spend on the phone and enables you to quickly handle frequent requests. It can also be used for personalised welcome messages.
Open your call plan, Click to add technology and select Audio Announcement. This will open the form below:
Click on Select.
You can now upload the audio file to play to your callers. You can select audios already on your call plan, any that have been used previously will be stored in a list for you to reselect.
If you would like to upload a new file either click to upload from your computer or drag and drop. Once the new audio has uploaded it will appear in the list. Click on Select beside the file you require, and then click Save.
You can then choose how many times you wish the audio to play using the drop down box. It defaults to once, but if you are giving out an alternative number you may wish to repeat the audio.
Check the File Name is correct and click Save.
